Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Green Culture Index?
It's an annual study of what sustainability really looks like inside Irish workplaces — not the press release version, but what employees actually experience day to day. We publish the findings as a free report so anyone can see what's really going on.
Who can take part?
Any working professional. It doesn't matter what sector you're in, how senior you are, or whether your organisation has a sustainability strategy or not. The more people who participate, the richer the data — and the more useful the benchmark becomes for everyone.
How long does it take?
Less than two minutes. It's 17 questions in total.
Is it anonymous?
Completely. No names, no email addresses, no company names. Nothing that could identify you or your organisation is collected at any point.
What happens to my answers?
Your responses are combined with everyone else's and published as aggregated findings in the GCI report. Nobody can see your individual answers — not us, not your employer, not anyone.
How does the GCI actually work?
The Green Culture Index is an independent, anonymous study of sustainability in Irish workplaces. Findings are based on responses from working professionals across all sectors and seniority levels. The GCI benchmark score is calculated from six scored questions and reported as a single number out of 100. Read the full methodology →
How is the GCI score calculated?
Six questions in the survey ask you to rate your organisation on specific aspects of green workplace culture. Those scores are averaged and converted into a number out of 100. We then aggregate across all respondents to produce a single headline score for Irish workplaces — and break it down by sector, seniority, and company size.
